On Saturday, March 25, the Old Town San Diego Chamber of Commerce and CalTrans will host the Old Town San Diego Clean Up as part of the statewide event, Clean California Community Days 2023. This event is an opportunity for residents and employees of Old Town San Diego to come together and make a positive impact on the community.
The Clean California Community Days initiative was started in 2020 as a way to engage Californians in keeping their communities clean and litter-free. The program has since grown and has become a statewide event that brings together communities, businesses, and government agencies to work together towards a common goal: clean up our communities and spread the word about taking pride in keeping California clean.
The Old Town San Diego Clean Up is an opportunity for participants to give back to the community by cleaning up litter and beautifying public spaces. The event will start at 8:00 AM and will run until 12:00 PM. Participants will be provided with gloves, trash bags, and litter pickers to assist in the cleanup efforts.
This event is not only a chance to help keep the community clean, but it is also an opportunity to connect with others who share a passion for preserving the environment. Participants will be able to meet and work alongside other community members, business owners, and local government representatives.
The Old Town San Diego Chamber of Commerce and CalTrans are proud to be a part of the Clean California Community Days initiative and are committed to keeping the community clean and litter-free.
