The Old Town San Diego location features 16 taps, serving the entirety of Societe’s beers, a retail corner, and walk-up order line. The taproom is located in a historic building and is decorated with piano scroll wallpaper and terracotta painted wood floors. The custom details in the taproom like the beer barrel chandelier, natural cedar bar, and original German beer garden tables contribute to its charming and nostalgic feel. The ambiance of the taproom is cozy and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the beers they serve.
Societe Brewing offers a variety of beers that are made on-site using only the finest ingredients. The brewery’s flagship beers are The Pupil, a hoppy IPA, and The Apprentice, a Belgian-style ale. The brewery also offers a rotating selection of seasonal beers, such as The Harlot, a fruity farmhouse ale, and The Professor, a rich and complex old ale.

The Old Town Tasting Room is currently undergoing renovations. The expansion space will add a beer bar, retail shop, and onsite kitchen. The renovations will also remove the separating walls to allow light to flood the entirety of the space, creating a larger tasting room experience. The brewery plans to close for a short period in late 2023 to complete the renovations.
