Bazaar del Mundo Spring Show 2024

April 20 @ 11:00 am - 5:00 pm

A day of spring will be celebrated at Diane Powers’ Bazaar del Mundo Shops in Old Town with a tribute to beloved artist, Laurel Burch, and a curated selection of jewelry, fashion and décor at the free “Spring Pop-up, Curated by Bazaar del Mundo,” Saturday, April 20 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Bazaar del Mundo Shop courtyard.

Laurel Burch’s unique images and designs became wildly popular in the ’60s with her vividly colored feline images. While she passed away in 2007, her longtime fans continue to flock to the Bazaar del Mundo Shops which still feature her whimsical designs. Her daughter Aarin Burch will make an appearance to celebrate her mother’s 5th anniversary of the brand and showcase special anniversary items.

A longtime resident of Tubac, Arizona, she recently located to San Diego County
  • Janet Pitcher’s floral designs are made of polymer clay, embellished with hand dyed silk cord, Swarovski crystals and framed with antique filigree metals to accent the floral designs. Her necklaces, bracelets, pendants and earrings are all incredible detailed and beautiful
