Chamber Meetings

Committees of the Old Town San Diego Chamber of Commerce are essential components of the Chamber’s structure, enabling it to effectively serve the needs of its members and the community. By bringing together diverse talents and expertise, these committees play a key role in enhancing the economic, cultural, and social vitality of Old Town San Diego.

Committees operate as specialized working groups within the Chamber, each focused on specific areas of interest or expertise. Unless otherwise noted, committees are strictly advisory. Committees are encouraged to review proposals, policies, and projects and offer recommendations to the Board of Directors for consideration and final approval.

Each January the Board of Directors appoints committee chairs or co-chairs to serve for a term of one (1) year. Chairs are selected from among current Board members in good standing. Each member of the Board of Directors is expected to serve on at least one (1) committee each year, and each committee is expected to have at least three (3) members from the Board of Directors.
